RULES TO BE FOLLOWED IN INTERNSHIP PRESENTATIONS

SUMMER INTERNSHIP APPLICATION PRINCIPLES
The procedures to be followed regarding summer internships are listed below:
1- Students who will do an internship will receive and fill out the "Internship Application Petition" (FORM-1) and, if desired, the "Compulsory Internship Form" (FORM-2) from the Department Secretariat to which they are affiliated, and apply to the Business/Institution/Organization where the internship will be carried out with these document(s). (FORM-2 will be signed by the department chair.)
2- Students who will do an internship will receive their internship notebooks and "Internship Evaluation Form" (FORM-5) in return for signature after submitting their approved "Internship Acceptance Letter" to the Department Secretariat.
3- Department secretariats will forward the students' "Internship Acceptance Letters" to the Head of the Departmental Internship Commission.
4- Students will choose one of the internship periods determined by our Dean's Office and fill out the "Unemployment Fund Contribution to Internship Fees Information and Approval Form" (FORM-3) available at the Department Secretariat, sign it and have it approved by the Institution/Organization where they will do the internship. "Approved FORM-3 Document, ID Photocopy and Eligibility Certificate to be obtained via e-government" will be submitted by the students to the Department Secretariat.
5- Department Heads will fill out the student lists for the relevant periods as specified in FORM-4 and send them to our Dean's Office via EBYS at least 10 days before each internship period.
6- Insurance entries of the students who will do the internship will be made by the Dean's Office, and the insurance policies will be sent to the Department Heads by the Dean's Office to be distributed to the relevant students.
7- Our students will receive the "Internship Notebook" and "Internship Evaluation Form" (FORM-5) from the Department Secretariat upon signature.
8- Our students will submit the "Internship Evaluation Form" (FORM-5) to the official of the workplace/institution/organization where they did their internship. FORM-5 will be filled out by the workplace/institution/organization official and delivered to the department in a sealed envelope.
9- Students doing internship will fill out the "Internship Book" in accordance with the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department Internship Directive . The number of pages can be increased if necessary. The relevant places must be stamped and signed by the authorities of the workplace/institution/organization where the internship is performed.
10- "Properly filled and approved internship book, internship evaluation form (FORM-5) and Unemployment Fund Contribution RECEIPT " documents, if given in a sealed envelope , will be delivered to the Department Secretariat.
