The Information Technologies Committee is responsible for managing, updating, and maintaining the department’s website to increase digital visibility and provide current, accurate, and accessible information to internal and external stakeholders.
Website Content Management:
Ensure regular updates of the department website, including academic staff, courses, announcements, events, laboratories, projects, internships, and alumni information.
Monitoring Technical Updates:
Coordinate with relevant university units to track software and system updates that ensure the security, usability, and accessibility of the website infrastructure.
Visual and Media Content:
Ensure the proper addition of visual materials from events, technical visits, projects, and success stories to the website.
Bilingual Content Development:
Support the preparation of English content when necessary to enhance international visibility.
Coordination with Other Committees:
Receive content update requests from other committees, adapt them into appropriate formats for the website, and publish accordingly.
Student and Alumni Information:
Effectively communicate current announcements regarding internships, scholarships, technical visits, graduation ceremonies, and career opportunities to students.
Accessibility and User-Friendly Design:
Provide suggestions to maintain and improve the website’s mobile compatibility and its simple, user-friendly structure.
Digital Archiving:
Ensure the systematic archiving of past events, news, and announcements published on the website.
Monitoring and Feedback:
Analyze user feedback related to the website, implement necessary improvements, and discuss these in regular committee meetings.
