The Project Committee is responsible for ensuring the effective planning, execution, and evaluation of engineering-based project activities, such as the Design Project course. The committee aims to contribute to enhancing students' design competencies.
Design Project Course Coordination:
At the beginning of each semester, plan the necessary timeline and processes for the Design Project course, and organize student-advisor matching.
Collection and Approval of Project Topics:
Collect project proposals from faculty members, evaluate them for content, feasibility, and academic suitability.
Midterm Evaluations:
Organize evaluation activities such as presentations, reports, or midterm submissions to monitor students’ progress during the project.
Tracking Design-Focused Processes:
Ensure that the project processes include analysis, design, implementation, and testing steps to help students develop their engineering design skills.
Final Evaluation and Presentations:
Organize jury processes at the end of the semester to evaluate students' projects through written reports and oral presentations.
Project Writing and Ethical Guidance:
Establish content and formatting rules for project reports, provide guidance to students on ethical standards and avoiding plagiarism.
Visibility of Successful Projects:
Increase the visibility of successful projects through the department’s website, competitions, or exhibitions.
Monitoring and Feedback:
Collect suggestions and feedback from students and advisors to continuously improve the design project course processes.
